About

Most people don't come to see an osteopath because they're interested in osteopathy.

They come because something's in the way: pain, an old injury, a body that's stopped doing what it used to.

Some want the pain gone. Some want to get back to moving freely. Usually it's both.

Portrait of Felix Adamson-Walter

They're tired of pain holding them back, unsure why it keeps coming back, or they simply want to get back to living their life without constantly thinking about their body.

My role isn't just to treat symptoms. It's to help you understand what's happening, reduce the uncertainty, and give you a clear path forwards while restoring the movement you've lost.

My approach

Before I treat anything, I want to understand it.

Before thinking about treatment, I want to understand your story. When your symptoms started, how they've changed, what you've tried before and, most importantly, what you're hoping to get back to.

Every person who walks through the door is different, so every treatment should be too.

Rather than following the same approach for everyone, I combine osteopathy, movement assessment and rehabilitation into a plan built around you and your goals.

For some people that means hands-on treatment. For others it means improving movement, rebuilding strength, or simply understanding why they're in pain in the first place. Most people benefit from a combination of all three.

More than pain relief

Reducing pain is important, but it's rarely the final goal.

The real goal is getting you back to the activities that matter most.

Whether that's running, lifting weights, surfing, gardening, playing with your children, or simply getting through the day without thinking about your back, recovery should improve your quality of life, not just your symptoms.

I want every patient to leave feeling more confident in their body than when they arrived.

Hi, I'm Felix

Who I've worked with, and what I trained in.

I've worked with Premier League footballers, world champion Ironman athletes, Olympians and professional rugby players, helping them recover from injury and get back to performing at their best.

But most of the people I treat aren't elite athletes. They're people who want to walk without pain, get back to the gym, or pick up their kids without wincing. The same principles apply either way.

I qualified as an osteopath with a Master of Osteopathy degree, and I've kept building on it since, with further training in rehabilitation, biomechanical assessment, strength and conditioning, and the CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coaching programme. I have a particular interest in nervous system regulation.

I'm originally from Sussex. I've practised in Bristol and spent two years working in Australia before moving back, so I bring a fairly broad range of experience to how I treat and coach.

Outside the clinic

Movement has always been part of my life.

Strength training, running, surfing, hiking, or exploring somewhere new. I enjoy challenging myself physically and spending time outdoors.

Experiencing my own injuries over the years has shaped how I practise today. It's a reminder that recovery isn't always straightforward, and that every patient deserves to feel listened to, understood and supported throughout.

What you can expect

You should leave with more than treatment.
